A lion, a jackal and a donkey were very friendly in a forest. Once a lion hunted a deer. “I do not eat meat. So eat this meat both of you,” said the donkey. “But it is your responsibility to distribute this meat to both of us,” said the lion. The donkey made two equal parts of this meat. One part was placed before the lion and another part before the jackal. Seeing these stakes, the lion got very angry. Looking angrily at the donkey, the lion roared, “I am the king of the forest. Think again and divide the shares.” The donkey could not know what was going on in the lion’s mind. Divided again into two equal parts. The lion’s anger reached its peak and he killed the donkey on the spot. “Donkey doesn’t know how to distribute meat, you distribute it,” ordered the lion to the fox.

Sensing the lion’s charm, the fox cut the meat into four parts and took only one part and placed the three parts in front of the lion. Seeing this scene, the lion’s face was filled with joy. “Fox! You spread the stakes very well. Where did you learn?” asked the lion. “I learned education from the donkey that just fell into your hands,” said the fox. The lion laughed in his mind at the fox’s wisdom.

A mouse lives peacefully in a village. It survives by eating whatever it finds. One day its relative from the city came to look around to see the village mouse. With the arrival of the city mouse, the village mouse made many arrangements. She prepared many village dishes starting from grain found in the fields. The city mouse ate those dishes. “How are our hometown dishes?” asked the village mouse. “It’s like crying. Are these a dish? “If you come with me to the city, I will make you taste amazing dishes that you have never eaten before,” said the city mouse. Believing the words of the city mouse, the village mouse went to Patna with it.

One night something auspicious happened in the big building. Many types of food items are lying below. Two mouses chased them. Meanwhile someone came there to drink fresh water. The two mice ran away from the wave and hid. After a while the mice started eating food again. The guard dogs in that house barked loudly. The rats got scared by these screams and ran away from there. After a while the rats came back to eat the food items. A cat came there and the mice started running away again. Later, the village mouse said, “In our village, we used to eat food comfortably without any fear of life. Here you have to live in constant fear. It is better to fall at once than to live in fear every minute. That’s why I’m going to my village” said the mouse and left.
