In a village there was a weaver named Ravi. Every day he lived by weaving cloth on the loom. One day the sticks of the loom broke. His condition was that if he did not work on the loom he could not get food. He set out with an ax to go to the forest and cut down a good tree to get the wood needed for the stick. He found a big tree and cut off a branch that could be used for a stick. Meanwhile the tree spoke. “Ravi! I am a deity. I have been living on this tree for many years and enjoying the pleasant climate here. If you cut down the tree, I will lose my abode,” said the tree-dwelling deity. “Mother! I am helpless. My loom stick is broken. I need wood to make the stick. The loom is my livelihood. What do you want me to do?” Ravi asked. “I will solve your problem. If you take this tree to hell, I will give you a boon, ask for it,” said the deity.

“Mother! I will go home and ask my wife what boon I want” he left home. On the way Ravi met a barber who was his friend. Ravi said to him “Friend! A deity will give you a boon. What do you want?” he asked. “Wish that you become the king of a kingdom. I will be your minister and give you good advice. Let us both live comfortably,” said the barber. “No my friend! I will take my advice and think about what boon to ask,” said Ravi. “What do women know, you ask her for advice,” mocked the barber. Ravi left for home saying, “Anyway, I have to take my wife’s advice.” After going home, he told his wife. Barber also expressed his opinion. “What does that barber know? He is short-tempered. Ravi’s wife mocked Ravi’s wife. Ravi asked his wife, “Now tell me what boon you want for me.”

“We are making a living by working with your two hands and one head. If you have four hands and two heads, you can work even more and earn a lot of money. After we live comfortably, we can do good deeds with the rest of the money to benefit others. So you go to the deity and get two more hands, Ask for another head,” advised the wife. Immediately Ravi came to the tree and asked him to give him two more hands and another head as advised by his wife. Goddess said “OK”. From that moment Ravi got another head and two arms. “My luck” said Ravi happily and left for home. People were afraid of him on the way. Ravi, who looked strange with four arms and two heads, was pelted with stones thinking that he was some kind of demon or devil. The whole body was injured by those blows. King Vijayasenu had a daughter named Ratnavali. She has come of age. Very blonde. One day a demon passing through the sky sees Ratnavali. Demon wants to marry Ratnavali anyway. Knowing this, KING formed a tight circle of protection around his daughter to protect her. He also ties the enchanted rope to her hand. But every day the demon came to her palace and stood watching Ratnavali. Noticing this, Ratnavali lied that one day the demon heard, “A thief comes to the fort every day to steal me.” Hearing this, the demon took hold of a horse in the stable to save the princess from the thief. Coincidentally, a thief comes that day and wants to rob the treasury. Finding nothing, he goes to the stable and sees the horse possessed by the demon. Thinking, “I will steal this horse today,” the demon thief gets on the possessed horse and starts towards the city.

The monster who saw the thief who was dressed in black is another monster like me? He thinks that. After going some distance, the horse gets out of control. The thief gets scared and hangs himself by holding a branch of a big tree. The horse moves forward. The demon thief on the horse came forward showing his true form and said this “Friend! Don’t be afraid. I am a demon like you. See if you want.” Seeing this, the thief is still afraid. A monkey was living on that tree branch. The monkey was a good friend of the monster. The monkey laughs at the monster’s ignorance. “Demon friend! How ignorant you are. He is not a demon like you. He is an ordinary man,” said the monkey.

Hearing these words, the thief got angry. Immediately the robber grabs the monkey’s tail, crushes it and pulls it hard. The monkey couldn’t bear the pain and was suffering with a deformed face. Seeing that, the demon said, “Didn’t you mock me for being afraid of this thief? Now run away from this thief and save your life” joked the demon and left.
