A faithless man English Story with Moral

A poor Brahmin is suffering poverty due to financial difficulties, unable to support his wife and children. At least he was unable to feed his children and was constantly scolded by his wife. Unable to bear the insults of his wife, one day he went into the forest. There the poor Brahmin was very thirsty. He searched the whole area for water, but found no water anywhere. A huge pit was seen somewhere. He looked into it. In that pit, a tiger, a monkey, a snake and a man were seen by the Brahmin. At first the tiger said to the Brahmin, “Take me out of this pit and do me good!” She pleaded. “Just hearing your name makes me afraid. I can’t dare take you out of the pit and take my life,” said the Brahmin. “I will not do you any harm. Have some pity on me and take me out of the pit and do good,” said the tiger.

The Brahmin felt that ‘in saving one’s life, the loss of our life is equivalent to a pious act’. He immediately put some tree vines in the hole. Grabbing it, the tiger came out of the pit. Soon the monkey started to bark. “Brahmin! Save me too” said the monkey. The Brahmin saved the monkey and the snake by pulling them out of the ditch. These animals said to the Brahmin, “There is a man inside the pit, don’t save him, he is a great sinner. If you save him, it is as if you have bought danger.” The Brahmin did not understand why. If ever you come there, I will reciprocate and pay off your debt,” he said to the Brahmin.

“There is a big tree near the waterfall near that hill. I am staying on it. If you need anything, come there” said the monkey. Brahmin! “Take me out of the pit and save me.” Taking pity on the Brahmin, he also saved the man from the pit. “The man who came out of the pit said, “My name is Ravi. If you ever want to get gold jewelry made, come to me?” The man said to the Brahmin and left. After that the Brahmin wandered for a few days to earn. But he could not earn money. Hungry, he went to the abode of the monkey. The monkey kindly invited the Brahmin and gave him good sweet fruits. He ate them and satisfied his hunger. The monkey showed the Brahmin the abode of the adjacent tiger. He went to the abode of the tiger.

The tiger was very happy to see the Brahmin. She gave a necklace and some precious jewels to the Brahmin. “Where are these jewels?” Brahmin asked. “A prince traveled all over this forest on a horse. The horse got out of control and fell under him, and the prince fell. I took care to take his jewels and give them to you. Take these and remove your poverty?” It was the tiger. The Brahmin wrapped up the jewels given by the tiger and took them out of the pit and went to Ravi and asked him to sell the gold ornaments he had brought. Ravi saw the jewels and realized that he had made them for the prince. The prince had not been seen for some time and his whereabouts were unknown. He puts the prince in danger for the jewels?” Ravi thought badly.

Ravi went to the palace and said to the Brahmin, “Brahmin! Stay here. I will consult my experienced friends and decide the right price for these jewels.” The royals tied up the Brahmin and presented him before the King. The king was angry and without thinking, without listening to the words of the Brahmin, sentenced him to death. The Brahmin in prison thought of the snake at that time. Soon the snake will appear. To save the Brahmin, the snake comes up with a trick and bites the queen. Soon the queen faints. Not knowing what to do, King announced to the whole village that he would give his wife valuable gifts if she survived. Many doctors went and tried but failed to revive the queen. Finally the Brahmin in the prison sent word that he would survive. The King agreed to treat the Brahmin Queen. The Brahmin went and touched the queen and she survived. Then the king was pleased and asked, “Where did you get the gold ornaments of the prince?” He asked.

The Brahmin told everything that happened in the forest. King punishes the unfaithful Ravi, who did a disservice to the Brahmin without even thanking him for saving him from the pit. After that he appointed a Brahmin as his minister. That day the Brahmin’s poverty disappeared. The Brahmin immediately summoned his wife and children and lived comfortably in the kingdom.

MORAL : If someone helps us, then we should help them back. Do not harm them. If we do evil to them, we will suffer the same fate as Ravi.
